# Does FreedomPop allow me to bring my own phone?

Yes! Switch your FreedomPop SIM card seamlessly between any unlocked 3G, 4G, or 4G LTE GSM device of your choice. If you're not exactly sure what an '**unlocked**' phone is, [read this](https://support.freedompop.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053764473?hsLang=en). 

As of December 31, 2016  2G Devices are no longer supported on GSM Network. We do not support BYOD activation of CDMA/Sprint compatible devices, at this time.
