How to use PIN codes

This information applies to Premium SIM cards

What is a PIN?

A PIN is a 14-digit code that can be used to add credit (minutes, text messages, or data) to your account. You may receive a PIN code if you had account credit from your older, Legacy SIM card account and you transitioned over to the Premium SIM card. PIN Codes expire after 90 days.

How do I use a PIN code?

Log into your account at freedompop.com/my-lines and click on the line you'd like to add credit to. Scroll down to the bottom of the account and look for the Activation Pin field. Enter your PIN code and click SUBMIT.

It can take up to 24 hours for your credit to appear.

How do I use the credit on my account?

Once you have submitted your PIN code and credit is made available, you can click on the "Add More" buttons next to your minutes, text messages or data balance to add additional minutes, texts, or high speed data to your account.

Any unused minutes, text messages, and data balances are reset when your billing cycle renews.

This information applies to older, Legacy SIM cards

A PIN is a 14-digit code that can be used to add credit (minutes, text messages, or data) to your account. PIN codes are not supported, and cannot be used with your Legacy SIM card.

You may receive a PIN code if you have account credit in your Legacy SIM card account and you transition over to the new, Premium SIM card. PIN Codes expire after 90 days.

After you transition over to the Premium SIM card, the PIN code you receive can be used to add accumulated account credit back to your new Premium SIM account.
