Steps: Activate your Android phone
Step 1: You must first log into a Google Play account. Click on Apps
Step 2: Then, click on the Google Play Store.
Click on Existing if you already have a Gmail account. Click on Add New if you do not have a Gmail account.
If you select Existing:
Enter your Gmail usernameIf you already have a Gmail account, you will be asked to enter that Gmail account’s username (your email) and the account’s password.
Enter your password
If you have forgotten the password, click the “forgot password” link for help.
If you select Add New:
Enter your nameEnter your first name in the first text box, and enter your last name in the second text box. If you decide to use the Gmail email address that comes with your Google Account, all emails will be authored by the name you enter here.
Choose a username
Some usernames have already been picked, so you may have to try a few times before you get an available one. If the name you want is already taken, you will see other suggested usernames on the screen.
Whatever you pick will end up being your Gmail email address as well. For example, if you pick “jamesdoe” as your username, your Gmail email address will be jamesdoe@gmail.com.
Next, create a password
The password you create must be between 8 and 100 characters. A good password will be hard to guess, and something that is not personal to you (for example, don’t use your birthday, phone number, etc.)
Next, select security questions
This will help you to log in in the future, if you forget your password. You will have to answer these questions correctly if you get locked out of your account.
Decide if you want to join Google Plus
Google Plus is Google’s Social networking website. It is like Facebook but under a different site and with varying functionality. If you decide not to opt into this service, you can still continue with your Google Account.
Decide if you want to sign up for offers from Google, or if you want to turn on Google Web History
Offers, like information about new products and services, will be sent to the new gmail email address you have just created. When you turn on Google Web History, google will track the websites you visit and when. This can help Google improve the information they show you, like relevant news and current weather.
Step 3: Once you have finished setting up your Google Play account, click on the search bar at the very top of the screen.
Step 4: Search for “FreedomPop”.
Step 5: Click on the FreedomPop application
Step 6: Click INSTAL to download it to your device, or if the option is available, click on UPDATE.
Step 7: Once the app has downloaded, click on OPEN to open it up, and allow your account to synchronize with your phone.

Step 2: Select your language
Step 3: Select a Region
Step 4: If you like, connect to WiFi
Remember, your device arrives connected to your FreedomPop account and data should work out of the box. If you do not connect to a WiFi network, you will still be able to continue with setup and use your device, however data usage will be deducted from your monthly plan limit. Connecting to WiFi will save your data allotment.
Step 5: Next, your device will connect to the network
This process can take anywhere from 1 - 15 minutes depending on the strength of your data connection, or WiFi connection.
Step 6: Decide if you want to enable or disable Location Services.
Step 7: Decide if you want to restore a back up.
This applies if you have used an iPhone before and you have saved all of the data on that iPhone. In this case, you can restore that data on your new iPhone using this feature. The data must have been saved to an iTunes or Apple account.
Step 8: Next, create your Apple ID
This is important to log into the app store and download applications. If you already have one, click on “Sign in with your Apple ID”. If you do not have one, click on “Create an Apple ID”.
If you select Sign In:
Enter your Apple ID
This is the existing Apple account ID that you have already created. It is also known as your username or email address.
Enter your password
This is the password that you used when you signed up for your Apple ID. It must be at least 8 characters.
If you select Create:
Enter personal account information
First, enter your birth month, date, and year. Next, enter your first name, and last name.
Then, decide if you’d like to use an existing email with your account or create a new one.
Your existing email can be anything you already one, even if it’s a gmail, hotmail or outlook account. If you create a new one, you will be given an email @icloud.com.
Next, create a password.
The password you choose must contain at least eight characters, a number, an uppercase letter, and a lowercase letter. A good password will be hard to guess, and something that is not personal to you (for example, don’t use your birthday, phone number, etc.) You will be asked to verify the password, which means to enter it again.

Next, decide if you would like to use iCloud for storage backup.
This means every time you take a picture or create a document in one of Apple's applications, a copy of it will automatically be stored online for you. You can access these stored files from icloud.com. If you prefer to leave everything on your iPhone, you can decline the iCloud feature.
Decide if you want to lock your phone with a passcode or, if applicable, a fingerprint.
This means every time you want to use your phone, you will have to enter your password or use the fingerprint scanner. It secures your device against unwanted users.
Next, decide if you would like to send Diagnostics information to Apple or not.
This means that usage details or any errors you get on your phone will automatically be sent to Apple so they can improve their service.
