Devices that are compatible with AT&T are generally GSM devices. Some devices, like newer unlocked iPhones, are compatible with all networks, and they support both GSM and CDMA.
Our SIM cards work with the largest GSM network in the US and can be used with most AT&T-compatible phones and GSM unlocked phones.
What devices will NOT work with this service?

The different SIM cards we offer
We offer two types of SIM cards: Talk, text, and data SIMs built for cell phones, and Data-only SIM cards made for mobile hotspot devices.
If you purchased a Talk, Text, and Data SIM card (for phones)
You will need to use a GSM SIM-unlocked smartphone. If your phone is GSM unlocked, that means the phone can be used with any SIM card, from any carrier. Phones that are locked to a specific wireless carrier are unsupported. For more information about the difference between a locked phone and an unlocked phone, read this article.
Android phones must be running the operating system Android 4.1, or more recent, and iPhones must be updated to the operating system iOS 8.0, or more recent. These system requirements are based on the needs of our mobile application. For calling and texting, you must use our FreedomPop Free Talk and Text application (iPhone) or FreedomPop Messaging application (Android).
Unfortunately, Windows phones and BlackBerry phones are not supported.
When it comes to Android phones, the manufacturer (Samsung, Blu, Sony, HTC, etc) does not matter, but if you find that your SIM works with some manufacturers and not others, please contact us to report it.
If you purchased a Data-Only SIM card (for hotspots)
For data-only SIM cards, you will need to use a GSM unlocked hotspot device. There are no additional requirements for hotspots.
